Our current initiative focuses on helping provide beds for children in our community who do not have a proper place to sleep. For some families, the need is simple but significant. A bed is not just a piece of furniture. It represents rest, dignity, and stability for a child.
Through our partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the White County Kindness Coalition is working to raise funds to sponsor a local bed build. This effort helps ensure that children who are currently sleeping on floors, couches, or in overcrowded spaces have a bed of their own.
Sometimes what a family needs most is not long-term assistance, but a practical solution that meets a real and immediate need. This initiative reflects the mission of the coalition to connect kindness, generosity, and practical resources in ways that strengthen our community.
This initiative is currently underway with a goal of raising $5,000 to sponsor a bed build.
