OUR LEADERSHIP

Kindness Coalition is led by a committed team of local leaders who care deeply about this community and the people in it. Our board brings together experience from education, business, ministry, nonprofit work, and community service allowing us to approach real needs with both compassion and practical wisdom.

We have intentionally built a strong and diverse board that reflects the heart of our communities. Each member plays a role in helping us stay grounded, accountable, and focused on making a meaningful impact through trusted partnerships and strategic initiatives.

We are not just a board—we are neighbors who are invested in seeing our community thrive.

What Does the Kindness Coalition Do?

The Kindness Coalition exists to turn generosity with giving, serving, and kindness into meaningful, practical help.

We bring people, organizations, and resources together to meet real needs—locally and beyond—through kindness that restores dignity and strengthens communities.

Rather than creating new programs that already exist, we focus on collaboration, connection, and community impact. We identify gaps, support trusted partners, and mobilize generosity where it can make the greatest difference.

How We Serve

We connect needs with resources.

When individuals, families, or community partners face challenges, we help bridge the gap between need and help—financially, relationally, and practically.

We strengthen what’s already working.

We partner with proven organizations, churches, and local initiatives, amplifying their impact instead of competing with them.

We respond with compassion and urgency.

When needs arise—expected or unexpected—we move quickly and responsibly, guided by relationships and local insight.

We serve with dignity and accountability.

Every act of kindness matters. We steward resources carefully, operate transparently, and serve people as neighbors, not projects.

Why We Exist

Our communities are full of generous people.

They are also full of real needs—some visible, many unseen.

The Kindness Coalition exists to activate generosity, simplify giving, and create a trusted pathway for kindness to flow where it’s needed most.

Kindness is powerful when it’s intentional.

Community is stronger when resources  are strategically coordinated.

Hope grows when people know they’re not alone.

Who We Serve

We primarily serve  a 45 mile radius from Monticello, IN located in White County, but remain open and responsive to needs beyond that area as partnerships and opportunities arise.

Our focus is local.

Our posture is collaborative.

Our reach is growing.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Integrity in leadership and finances

  • Collaboration over competition

  • Compassion rooted in respect

  • Impact that can be seen and felt

Kindness isn’t just something we believe in.

It’s something we put into action.
